    Exclamation SL750 Display--alway on??

    Should the LCD display on a 1995 sl750 always display the time and trim angle?

    It should eventually go into "sleep" mode. (blank screen)

    If not, it's actually not a big problem if it stays displayed. It uses such low voltage, it shouldn't affect your battery. Think about a wrist watch, how small a battery it uses, and how many years you get out of it.
