    03 gpr blown engine

my cousin has a 2003 gpr and he blew the engine last year. he had a someone look at it and they said he needs a long block. not a short. where could i find this for him or should i just tell him to buy a whole new engine through sbt?

He needs to have people looking at it who know what they are talking about

Depends on what is blown on it.... is the case good? Crank? Some people have issues with SBT motors, but if he's not going to modifiy the engine it's his best deal IF he needs a new motor. Comes with a warranty and everything.

1300 long block - I have an extra one of those

    or short block

    or just cylinders and pistons

and yes step 1 is to figure out what parts are damaged - so as suggested the cylinder head should be removed
