    HX Factory Pipe Question

I found a factory pipe i am thinking of buying. It includes a MicroTouch rev limiter/injection controller.

I have a few questions. Is jetting required with this? Are there any other items i will need? Will i lose reliability? What is it worth?

My HX is pretty much stock, i have a R&D Ride plate & grate.

Also, I am looking for other HX aftermarket parts. Just let me know what you have & price you need.

A little History: I recently purchased an HX, In my opinion the funnest ski ever made. I bought one new in 96 but sold a few years later. After alot of years and alot of looking i found a great HX for a good price, so let the fun begin again.

I have a bud that had one with a FP. Best mod you can do. Cons-they are fuel critical. If you run out of gas, you will seize a piston. No rejetting is required, and it is recommended you keep the stock airbox. To maintain reliability, no other mods should be done.

Just remember to always ride it on reserve and don't ride it below 1/4 tank.

like he said leave the ski stock and you should be OK,never had the change to try using air separator on mine might be hot setup to add reliability

If I remember correctly, per FP's website, jetting is required with the pipe. And they do recommend keeping the stock airbox.

not really there calling out for 140 mains (stock 135) low speed 75(stock 67.5) stock pop off 40-65 psi they what 65 gram spring so something like 22 psi ALSO with are new fuel (10% alcohol we have to bump up jetting once again (what ever jetting is called out multiply by 4% and adjust)
