06+ Crank in an 04 RXP?

I have an all 04 motor that has an 06+ crank in it which obviously does not work (long story).

Can someone confirm that by rotating the encoder wheel (that the mag cup sits in) 2 bolt holes anti clockwise will solve the problem?

I have been told that this will work but just wanted to double check.

    Thanks

The pin on the 06 is at arround 7:00 and on a 04 is at arround 10:00 if pin is removed it will work.Hope this helps.

I understand, remove the locating pin, and rotate anti-clockwise by 2 bolts holes.

    Thanks

Anyone have a pic of where the encoder wheel needs to be?
