    P-1202

ok, this has been an ongoing problem, i know ive posted this before a few times but the subscribed threads thing isnot working. so, once again i get a code of 1202. ive already changed the pressure switch and it still does it. the dealer said i need to bring it in to clear the code. <---------is that true?

its been very frustrating because ive called every dealer around here and all they say is bring it in/which will be the last thing i will do.

ive gotten a few responses that the bbv is still open. but i NEVER get a respose to where this bbv is. ive called 2 dealers and they dont know either....

its been a year and a half since this started and i havent gotten a respose to fixing it.

i do not want to bring it to the dealer and get raped on the bill but this is my last hope to finding out the soulution. skii has 32 hrs on it and its an 04

dude, where are you going?? If i buy a key at the dealer is free to program( key is about $54 out the door) and $5 to program if I buy it elsewhere. Your getting ripped off man.

If they are charging you an hour labor to clear the alarm, have them wax the ski after they take 10 minutes to clear the alarm... Ron

Well Dealers vary like women So do you and some dont..LOL P1202 was the sensor back in 03-04 but it can be excessive blow back or a tops valve failure. IF you dont know what those are or how to check them you need to go to a good dealer. The dealer can clear the Code but the fault will reset when you pull the lanyard and it will log a P1202 in the history. Resetting the code with Buds only clears the count in the history. You could have a big problem and if you drag it out long enough the dealer will be so busy he will keep it all summer..

im not sure how u would check for blow back but ive changed the front oil sensor, which i thought it would fix it but i cant seem to figure out why 1202 came back up and goes into limp mode. could it be that sensor? ive heard there a problem and go out often. what could be wrong with the tops sensor though?
