    GP1300R

I have 2 of these. How do I find out what year they are? One of them while riding just killed. There is a clicking noise when hitting start button. I feel it in I`m guessing an electric box,,,probably a relay. They were bought out of Miami. What should I be checking first. They are both gold and black.

Just more info,,,,it sounds as thought the relay is fine since its clicking,,,,starter wont do jack. I guess I`ll clean the terminal at starter. New to these and looking for quick pointers. Thanks.

No workie for me. What the hell is this box in the rear with fuses? Is there a cover or is it sealed from factory? I was told these were `06s.

    on the Sea-Doo side.

For the year look @ the last two digits to the vin the plate is on the R rear underneath the side rail (above the trim tabs).

From there - Check the battery - then pull the plugs and see if it behaves the same way.

Pulled the plugs,,,nada,,,its drawing 40amps! When I hit the start button. To get to this starter, I take it the Intake has to be removed.

start with the easy stuff. pull the plugs, reach down and try to turn the coupler by hand. if you can't pull the pump and try again. if you still can't the problem's not electrical

I understand trying to see if the motor is locked up, but the starter isn`t even engaging,,,no spinnie, no nothin. just a click in the black box.
