Thread: Flush Kit

I have not flushed my RXP yet (fresh water only, usually on lift) and I had to ask ... do I need to buy something? Or do you just hook the hose to the fitting in the back by the pump? I will change the oil sometime this weekend and realized I had no idea on attaching the water hose to warm it up before changing the oil ...

Vern, the water hose will screw right into the fitting.
Also, dont forget to start the engine BEFORE you turn the water on and then turn the water off BEFORE you kill the engine.
I'd advise sucking the oil out after a day of riding while the oil is still good and hot. Just my opinion!

Exactly! I have helped people get water out of their 2 stroke motors when they turned on the hose on before starting the motor ... not pretty.
I was thinking the same ... I think I will ride, tie up to the dock and change it right there. Very easy access, actually simpler than doing it on the trailer.

Great question Vern because I have the same thought and situation. Always on fresh and on a EZ Dock...thanks for the info guys!
Really, a garden hose thread screws right into it. Who would have thunk? I guess Bombardier wasn't thinking, because if they had they would have made it to where you had to buy their adapter.
