Whats it take to run a Rude1 on an X?

A friend of mine has a RXT-X with the stage one components with stock water box and rear exhaust wants to run the Rude1 charger. What are the requirements?

I have asked a few peple but wanted to put it out on the forum to see what people think and so others can learn from this as well, since I didnt find any threads discussing this topic. Thanks for your input!

Going from a X charger to a Rude1 is only a slight boost increase. I would try a 2Rude for a nice perfromance increase, but if that what he has. Maybe a RRFPR without the boost line hooked up. Set fuel pressure around 60-62psi and check AFR.

The riva x-charger upgrade makes similar boost to the rude 1. I think that riva suggests 50lb injectors with the upgrade on the x-boats. I think a rrfpr alone may work but I would run the boost line.

Its a toss up. With my 2Rude. I am running 50's with a WOT fuel pressure about 60-62 with a RRFPR boost line hooked up and have good AFR. You can try just running the 50's and check AFR. Jim, I think your right on though. The X up grade maybe a little better or close to the same as the Rude1. With the 50's and X ecu the idle is a little rich till it warms up. The injectors are cheaper than the RRFPR.
