Yes, I would like to try that grate.

Jim doesn't just do ride plates. He is a GPR tuning master.

Rene said he was going to call you.

+1+1+1+1 Cuchun you need to shim the back of the plate with washers to get rid of the bounce. get some from auto parts store in different thickness (make sure they are stainless steel) and start adding them up till the bounce goes away.....loose the bolts of the ride plate only leaving the front ones on then take off the last two bolts of the ride plate and start adding washers between the plate and the hull till the bounce goes away....

If you shim the plate in the back you will lose speed, Setting up handling is more than shimming a ride plate. Look at the video's of the ski's set up by me they have a lot of lift for top speed and still handle very well without bouncing all over the place. Look at Eric's SHO conversion Rene was supermaning it and it was still glued to the water in the slight chop it was running in.

yeah cuchun......you know what u need to do......get that ski out to Tampa.....Rene will give you an update fo what he saw when he was out there. It will be time (and money) absolutely well spent. The fact that GPR is the most tunable hull on the planet is a double-edged sword.....if u know what ur doing u can get fine tune it better than any other factory hull........but if ur not familiar with it .....it will leave you shaking your head in disgust because that variability in tuning also means greater potential to screw up.......

Deez guys (Jim) are da masterz cockaroach....listen to ur friends meng!! I'm gonna call you.
