    Found My Water Problem!!!!!!!

Today I backed my ski up in the river and left it on the trailer while starting it up and found that there was a hairline crack with a small hole in the stinger on the exhaust where water was shooting out across the head...

best bet is to find another that the fellows have removed when going to pipe/pipes.. unless you go that route too.. you may be able to get it welded but those chambers go fairly cheap on ebay .. post a wtb on the classified's and you'll prob get a few p/m's.. unless the guys here in old school beat you with an offer to sell you one first.. this was then misting the hull bigtime and being sucked into the carb.. good find!!

Yea it was such a relief when i found this crack!!!!! i now know what i need to fix....and more than likely this is related to by problem with the rpms dropping considering the water was probably shooting straight across the head right into the carbs causing it to bog on me.....i guess we will see once i get the stinger replaced!!!!!

Where is the bracket that holds the pipe to the head? Did you take it off to find the leak ?
If it is not installed the pipe will crack in that area.

    Wink

You need to get one for it so when its repaired it wont break again. The part number is 63M-14771-00-94 about $86 thru the OEM parts link on this site! And the 4 bolts that hold it on.
