buying a gsx ?
So I'm looking at buying a new ski this week. Its a 1999 Sea-Doo GSX Limited. Says theres 80 hours on new motor. Price is $2500. I did a little searching here in the seadoo section, Just wondering if this is a good ski or if they have any major problems. Sound like a good deal? Any info is appreciated, Thanks.

I would find out if the OEM motor was rebuilt by the seller, if a motor rebuilt by Sea Doo was used, or if an SBT rebuilt motor was used. Lots of older 2-strokes have problems with the crank seals and that requires a new (and very pricey) crank. If the crank seals leak, the engine can seize due to running lean... Ron

I was told this ski was owned by a guy who owned a seadoo dealership. He bought the ski for himself with a blown motor and replaced it.
