    Diffrence between keyway and CDI advance

    What is the diffrence between the advance from a keyway and the advance from an R&D or Advent CDI? I get the $$ diffrence... Can they be used together? If so, what is the advantages?

    keyway will just advance stock curve(better that nothing)cdi can give you muilt curve for each cylinder and raise rpm cut off,just depends on what ya running(keyway best bang for buck)keyway for now only thing for FI guys

    I have just installed the key way. Do I have to worry about changing my CDI setting?

    you don't have an aftermarket CDI. You should up your EFI setting a bit though

    I do have an aftermarket efi (riva). So, do I have to change any of my settings with the keyway? Thanks.

    You should up your EFI setting a bit though
