    XPL upside down?

I have searched a little, done some reading and have read conflicting advice.

I want to know if its safe to turn one upside down for paint/fiberglass work with the engine still installed & all fluids drained?

    TIA

well they have a few post on here about that, from what i read it puts a lot of strain on the motor mounts with the engine upside down, would be a good idea to pull the engine.

If you can brace/block the engine to absorb some of the weight, you can get away with turning it over.

That is kind of what I have been thinking. Maybe taking an old screw type transmission jack and holding/putting a lil pressure on it.

Maybe a ratchet strap to something else int he hull to help hold it in? I need to fix a small crack in mine where I let a buddy ride it and he hit my other one with my girlfriend on it. Not very hard, but it doesnt take much to put a small crackin her
