    SHO Pump Tunnel Reinforcement

After hearing about some of the hard-core, modded island riders cracking the pump-tunnel on their SHO's, Shodude and MJ3 got proactive and got the crashed FX hull to coco so he could work some magic and create a pump-tunnel reinforcement. Just got mine a couple days ago....here r some pics....I'll include some pics of the install as it's done................the quality of the piece is excellent....the pump tunnel is going to be bulletproof once this thing goes in.........nice job Jorge

Rip, do you have to drill the tunnel re-inforcement panel, and re mount the intake grate retaining brackets x 2, or does it glue into place over them and put them out of view and access?

Stick with 5200 for the adhesive. No reason to reinvent the wheel on this one (nor take a chance).

Dude, what is that big plastic piece doing covering up all that chick's goods? Move it son!

Really though, looks like a VERY nice piece. Coco did awesome. Mine should arrive here any day. Can't wait. Will keep looking to this thread for install details. Thanks Rip!

I want to do mine with mjh3ides, but not until after one more weekend of riding. Then it's back to wrenching.

yes you will have to drill this and remove the mounting brackets. I ordered new ones <$30 for the brackets I heard that they are hard to remove without breaking/bending them...
