Starting problems on new 250x - 2008
I have a brand new Ultra 250x-08 that has some starting problems from time to time. When Iīve been riding for a while and turn it of a couple of minutes it needs several seconds on the starting motor before it fires. It feels like it is on "the choke".
I did the 6* timing mod from start, so I havenīt tried it completly stock..
It has been running smooth for 4 hours and is easy to start when it's just launched and the engine is cool.
What is wrong?

this is very common, we think an injector might leak a small amount of fuel into the cylinder after its shut off while the engine is hot from a long ride. wont hurt anything. keep riding.

My ski did this same thing once about 10 riding hrs ago.
Was riding and we all stopped for a break, went to leave and the motor turnned over about 10 seconds before cranking.
Ran fine after it did start and has not done it sence.

Feels like jtskir15f is right, but it sucks that the injectors are so poor quality..
I will ride it a couple of more hours and see if the problem remains..
Is it hard to get new injectors from Kawa? It is under warranty...
