    it got weird

    Pardon me fellas...
I tripped over a 771 series Hamilton jet unit designed for the propulsion of small and medium sized craft with gasoline engine drive.
    Its a single stage 50 -130 horse.
Can i make this work with the sl750 motor and upgrades i am trying to put together?the Horse power seems perfect on the chart ,Rpm is off a little but the impeller can be repitched i believe, and nozzel size..keep in mind these units are very hard to find over here so i would really like to make it work, hard to find any jet for that matter,if you do find one for sale ten to one its for 200 to 300 horses.
I have had the experts look at the jet and the boat and they say installation is possible.
Does anyone familar with my threadthink it will operate better than the miniberkley.

How close are you to being able to test drive the mini-Berkley pump in your boat?

Because the money was not there at the time i took the chance on a stranger to machine the bozwel intakes to fit the custom reed cages.
To my dismay 6 weeks later(now) and he "hasnt had the time".
I made it clear to him 6 weeks ago that i would cough up money if need be couple hundy whatever "no,no ".I decided the things are to important to be intrusted to this guy any more and retrieved them, trying to save a few bucks

After reading K4's last reply,I went for a drive and dropped the three intakes and the fourth which is a template Kedanno sent me,off at a c+c shop near here.
No wonder they have been sitting for over a month, the job is going to cost a bit still waiting for the estimate. shop time 85$ a hour.
So asuming they get er done in a week mabye if i am lucky another couple on top of that to figure out some other problems i have before i get a chance to "run the bitch"

Run the berk, run the berk,im listening, yes i am going to,though i dont want it anymore but nothing about the hamy not even, put it in a scrap car and squish it

Its not a "Berkley" it's a Hamilton built in New Zealand these are the guys that invented the jet boat everything else is a copy

Sorry for the confusion mabye the wrong spot to post a few, i have a berkley minijet 6ja installed already with a sl750 fugi in my small craft, the 6ja is sort of similar to the 12ja but VERY small, the hamilton is just something i would like to run but instead of being to small its a bit to big.
In the pic the miniberkley is beside a 93 polaris pump for comparison

Wreck, that 750 makes about 80 HP stock.

With your mods, you'll be lucky to have 95 HP.

That 150-200 HP jet I think is overkill.

It is in fact a single stage pump xlint with a horsepower range of 50--130 , that seems good to me,does that sound like something that might work with some tweaking?
The pump is a little larger than the polaris. and it was powered by four stroke .
This could be plan B if the mini berk does'nt work,i dont want to disconnect two carbs like K4 suggested.
