    06 RXP VTS Problems

I just bought an 06 RXP to bring back from the dead. Everything runing great except the VTS. Last night i pulled the VTS and found the motor was good. (ran it on 12v) Last week I had the MPEM checked by Riva and enabled the VTS function. The harness plugs looks good and the 7.5 fuse is not blown. There is no active trim indicator on the guages, does this mean that the VTS function is disabled?

What ECU is it using, as it sounds like that function is turned off to me. Get is re-enabled.

Its running the original ECU. I just took the ECU to Riva and they enabled the VTS. The original owner did the same. If I had another 06 i would swap ecu's to check but thats not an option. The strange thing is that the depth sounder is enabled???

I spoke to Riva this morning and I got to bring it back in. Hopefully its that simple.

How long does it take the ecu without battery power to default this feature?

Just curious how this happens. I was jumping some pretty big wake last week and just after landing I noticed the depth meter was turned on and my VTS trim had dissapeared.

I guess bring it into the dealer and get them to disable and re-enable?

    Thanks,

Ya I just dropped mine off for this same thing. The dealer sure has us by the balls. You are forced to use their services ( computer system) to fix this annoying issue. I also have a code p-1517 that the compass is out of range, funny the 04 rxp does not have one. They said its $58 a half hour, WHAT A RIP !!! Im never un-hooking the battery ever again for more than a few mins.
