How do i clamp hose when being towed?
Silly question but just wondering what you guys are keeping in the ski's in case you have to be towed in. Whats the best thing to have in the ski to clamp that hose?

you have to plug a hose when towing? i towed two skis already without so.. what hose and for what reason??

the hose is the water inflow for the intercooler/exhaust. You pinch it off in a tow so that it cant suck water in, which would fill the waterbox and in return start to fill the exhaust manifold. If the exhaust manifold fills enough, the water pressure will force open the exhaust valves, filling the combustion chamber with water.

If you look in the owners manual I believe it gives you a picture of the hose you are to clamp.

On the two stroke skis there is water injected into the pipe so it is basicaly the same issue. In their case, it is the main water intake hose that you need to block off.
Either block the hose or tow it at idle.

+1 i carry a small pair of vice grips. Just incase. Lucky sofar never had to use them.

I think the hose has a red piece of tape on it.
