    rxp-x exhaust manfiold bolts

    So, Im about to put on my catch can and wonder what in the hell to use to get these weird looking bolts off??

    check the link or you could use a small 12 point box in wrench like i did not sure of the size i used but make sure it goes all the way on to the head of the bolt they strip pretty easy if your not careful

    12 or 6 point 1/4 inch drive socket will do the trick.

    Ideally, you should use an E6 inverted torx socket. A six point 1/4" socket will do fine... but if you opt for a 12 point 1/4" socket make sure you have it seated squarely or you risk it slipping and rounding the head.

    yea same concern... i temp zip tied it...but y buy the torx to only do that once...i dont plan on taking the entire engine apart

    That E6 is used EVERYWHERE on the 4-tec... SC, intake, exhaust, PTO... EVERYWHERE! It is a cheap, sound investment for people who plan on the slightest wrenching of their skis.

    However... a quality 6 point, 1/4", box end wrench is still needed to get some of the jobs done!
