    09 BOV

    Thank you KAWI.
This is the BOV of my 09.
I would never try to block it or change it.
Its a real made in Japan product and its a heavy, serious looking thing not like the 07/08 plastic toys.
    It even feels much heavier.
I blocked it cause i hate the 2 plastic hoses that run back to the intake.

that engine compartment looks smoother than butter drippin offa hot Biskit!
i was at the dear today just chewing the fat.. then i wandered round back therer were 2 blue 250's being summerized.. I looked inside i have never seen so much rust in my life, I think that what could rust did! the nozzel was screwed up and the ride plate was all pitted... too bad folks dont take care of their chit.
i guess it like a leased car.."i dont care i wont have it in 3 years"
i have heard people say that.....

    260 ride report:
    IT KICKS ASS
    Rpms bone stock are 7950-8050.
We out run every Lake-Poo in flat even some with mods + a 250 with a pulley.
    I didnt have a GPS...

Blocking the rear BOV and filtering the other one gave ZERO gain.We had 3 260X's, mine with the mode and the others without and we all got same speed and rpm's.

    Bad news:
1)There is something wrong with 260 starters.Sometimes they dont engage the ring gear.
2)Sometimes they refuse to start.Starter is turning the engine, there is smoke at the exhaust but it just doesnt start. After some cranks and throtle they start and run funny for 10-20 secs.Have no idea yet.
Both problems to all our skis.

    chris

    thx for the report.

did you got on any to 260 to high idle rpm on start?

two of our 260 runs first 10sek on much higher rpm then on normal idle rpm is, then it comes slowly down.

    rpm seams to be OK.
