Honda F12X or Kawasaki 15F
I currently own a 2008 15F and I'm looking for a second ski. Totaly satisfied with the 15F but really like the way the Hondas look/sound. I would really like to hear some opinions of people who have ridden both. Here's what I've gotten so far:
Top speed roughly same?
Honda uses 91 fuel vs Kawi 87
Kawi has more holeshot
Kawi more manuverable
Kawi more moddable
Honda more reliable?
Honda gets you more wet when you ride
Also, here's the deals I've found:
Kawi $6400 plus tax
Honda $5999 plus tax
Would really like people who have ridden both to chime in with opinions

I ridden both and the Kawasaki is a way better ski. The Honda hull. How do I say this. IT SUCKS!!! I ridden both. If you like ridding a bucking bronco Buy a 12 F. If you want a nice quick fun to ride ski buy the Kawi.

I hate to disagree, but we own both and the friends we always ride with ride both. They are both excellent skis and have strengths and weaknesses. They are both rock solid reliable and the Kawi does have a better holeshot due to the Honda's slight turbo lag.
They are both about the same in handling and hold a tight turn well.
The Kawi rode better in the rough until I modified the ride plate on the Honda.
The reverse on the Honda is much better than the Kawi and the fuel fill is much more convienent.
The Honda gets slightly better gas mileage than the Kawi but needs to run 93 for best performance.
They are both excellent choices.

I have to agree with ya JR. I rode the Kawi this weekend for the first time and I was impressed. It did handle the rough water a little better but I ride standing alot and I was more comfortable on the Honda although that's probably because I'm more used to it. It sure is a nice looking ski. I have no idea about reliability on the Kawi but I don't think you can go wrong with either. Neither are the fastest but they are both fun all around ski's.

yes, it is def going to be a personal preference. I have a friend who has a modded stxr and it screams in the chop, he kept some very fast GPR`s at bay past weekend! That kawi ran very well in the chop. I do hear that the new Honda`s have improved hull design and a better management system, can`t speak from experience, but i can say if I had the coin I would have went for the new breed of honda, beautiful machine IMHO...

Were talking Stock skis here. Already you modded the ride plate
That honda I rode in the rough stuff I could'nt wait to get back on my RXT. The I hopped off my seadoo and on to my friends Kawi I rode that half the day the only thing I had to get use to was the trigger over the thumb throttle.
No disrespect JR. The Kawi will crush the honda in the rough
