    800 SS grate question

I know some of you have shimmed the rear of the intake and then beveled your pump shoe to get it to sit right. But did you compensate for the amount shimmed to the front part of the intake grate so as not to cause a different angle? Reason i am asking is cause I put the shims in the rear but none on the front. So the angle of the intake would seem to be off, maybe acting against the water instead of with the water flow. The front angle of the intake would seem to sit up in the hull more than if you left the shim out. Any thoughts?
