New bad news for my XL1200

I decided to pull the engine from my 1998 XL1200 tonight when I got home from work and found more issues for the busted engine. I bought the ski knowing that the engine was bad, but thought it was just the piston because it was obviously destroyed when I removed the cylinder head. I took the cylinder off and took the old pistons out and have a new set of Wisecos ready to go in. I then decided to remove the engine and make sure everything else was okay before rebuilding...

    Thank God I did!

The bottom of the engine casing under the #2 piston has a gaping hole in it!

So....if anyone knows of someone selling an engine casing for a 65u engine, please let me know! I cannot post in the F/S section unfortunately because I do not have 20 posts.

I will post pics of the destruction soon.

If you have a hole in the cases you need a crank as well.
Lets see some pics of the damage split the cases check out the crank.
I have a crank and cases for a backup motor I might consider selling.
Cases have no pulse fittings as I was going to convert from carbs to F/I.

These are the pics of what I found. I am going to remove the crank/rods from the case the rest of the way and check it out some more. I think that the bottom case is the only part that is ruined.
