finished up mounting the Protec pipe into the red W/R using stainless brackets, aluminum spacers ,ss bolts, and rubber insulators
(used brake booster vac.feed grommets for inulators on the pipe side mounts..they are ideal fit in the pipes holes and totally encased)
with the hoses connected it floats perfectly on the mounts, and only deflects a total of 3/8 inch..
removed a better sbn off the gray WR and swaped it to the red one ,starting jettings at 140/115/2.0/95 gram..
(prob way to rich .. but safe ,we'll see where the needles end up)
added a different pitch ss impeller, plate and grate onto the gray WR..more of a stocker setup, but still bulletproof ...I always have one ski to ride!
cleaned up the GP , put her back in the water after the restricted speed season finally ended ..will put a few weekends of riding on her after hibernation and then start adding my amased goodies ..
Its hot here ,sun is shining , decent breeze, good tide in the river ... a great day to be out in the water.

This weekend I took my old cracked stinger off and replaced it with a new one that dav dman sent me. In the process of putting it on though I stripped out the back bolt on the stinger that mounts onto the exhaust manifold so I had to go out and buy a helacoil for it and had to drill out the hole and tap it out and put the helacoil down in there. I did finish it yesterday though as you can see from the vid i posted. Now the only thing Im waiting on is to get the nuts and bolts that go on top of the riva head so I can put the bracket on there so that this stinger doesnt crack like the last one did.

Glad to see some of you guys got some work/riding done.
