Would you recommend changing oil...
I bought a ski with 14 hours on it last year in early May. It now has 34 hours on it. The dealership said that the break in period maintenance was done on it, so I would venture a guess that the ski has about 20 hours on it since the last oil change. It did sit during the off season...Wanted to get different opinions.

It is my understanding that you change the oil/filter/spark plugs annually, regardless of the hours. I do mine every January. It gives me a reason to fire it up in the middle of down time.

Yes put fresh oil in it. Here is an option for you. AMSOIL 10w-40 Synthetic Marine Oil and it is safe for the supercharger washers. http://www.amsoil.com/redirect.cgi?z...storefront/wcf
Become a preferred customer save up to 30% off retail and get it for dealer cost. PM me for pricing. http://www.amsoil.com/redirect.cgi?z...n/preferredapp

It's best to change the oil the fall, so that all the acids from any blowby sit in all winter. But since the engine was fogged, you want to run the ski for a 1/2 hour or so (in the water; not on the trailer) to burn all the fogging oil off, then change the plugs. Keep the oil plugs as spares... Ron
