Update your profile so we can see where you are located. We often assume folks are located in the US unless the profile says otherwise.

If the corrosion has eaten away the mating surfaces, you may want to buy a matching good condition used cylinder and new piston+rings.

Were you flushing with salt-away after each ride?

Do you think the other cylinders could be in similar condition? Do you want to replace all three cylinders at the same time, just in case?

brought genesis about year ago, guy said crank been done as water flooded! mag cylinder looking through plug hole looked new, and nuts of cyl to case domes missing. they loved silicone as around cylinder covers, over o rings. trying to give new life to her, mating surfaces ok just slight salting in water jacket.

    What year is your Genesis?

Do you still have the original gray Tempo fuel lines in there?
If so, replace all the fuel lines, and clean out all three carbs.

Possible rear crank-seal leak. Lean and hot.
