    Getting the carbs off...

What is the trick? 66e motor, I have the carbs off the motor right now as a set, still together, what is the trick to getting them off of the base plate so I can get them open to rebuild them? As far I can see, the only thing that would be holding them on are the four bolts that attach the whole assembly to the intake on the motor...
    This is driving me crazy!
