    ? about D-plate

Hi everyone,i just bought a 2004 gp1300r and im wanting to put a Riva D-plate in.Is that all i need to do or do i have to install a sensor chip so i dont get any false alarms going off.I read you need the sensor chip for the powervalve models, just wondering if this pertains to my ski.Sorry if this is a dumb question but i want to make sure i do this right, this is my first ski, thanks for any replies in advance.

your gonna need the sensor chip to avoid the alarms and you can use the plug in chip in a 2004. buy the chip, plug it in and problem solved

yes, the pre-made sensor chip works for 2000-2004, or you can wire in a 1K ohm resister
