    The SLT Hydro Turf Chronicles

    Hey Now!!
I'm going to change out my funky mats. (Sorry, nothing to do with "Mattman")
They are O.E., and have really gone down the last coupla years. Amazing thing is they really lasted 10-12 years in pretty decent shape. They are now 15 years and essentially 50% gone. I know you guys love pix, and some are pretty quick witted and will give me:
    A. Excellent advice.
    B. Some good laughs.
    C. Grief.
    D. All of the above.
    Here are my nasty mats:

How about replacing that broken seat handle with a better than OEM one?

I remember reading in an earlier post about one of you guys recomending the use of an old chisel for removal of these nasty critters. (maybeK447?)
So I decided to try this method.
Unbelievably, the rear mat, (aft, arears, or stern area for you Pirate types) came off in one piece.
I also tried a stiff putty knife type deal... It didn't work for squat.

I think a few guys bought spares from Robert, just in case.

Perhaps a WTB might shake one loose

Now, for tomorrow, I am going to get some Acetone and try to use it to get the rest of the old adhesive and the residue up, and leave a good clean surface to glue to.
Thank (Iinsert your higher power here) for Hydro-Turf.
The question I leave you with tonight izzzzzzz.....
Should I leave the white letters in or should I let clean shiny white hull show thru? I will count the votes tommorow. Thanks guys, Rod.

He knows I want to buy one. Just waiting for the next batch I guess. I bid on one on e-bay one time, and he told me I should wait.
How 'bout it Robert? Meet you at Pyramid soon bro. Its almost time.
