Does it do the same thing when you run the engine on the hose? How do the spark plugs look after you run the ski? When was the last time the carbs were rebuilt on it?

You can take off the carb cover & fog the carbs while running it. Use some good carb cleaner. Fog the carbs 4,5,6 times if you have to. One carb at a time to prevent it from turning off. If you notice an improvement, it definitely needs a carburator rebuild.

Also make sure the PV's are working correctly. They may not be openning properly & the results can be catastrophic if left unattended.

Why would it be the carbs. The motor runs wideopen and great untill it gets hot 10-15 min, what is your reasoning on the carbs being the issue.

I'm only giving you some pointers of what it MAY be, not that it is. That's why I also asked you if it does the same thing on the hose? If it's only a temperature issue, then the carbs are definitely not it. The problem is that time has nothing to do with temperature. It doesn't take 10 minutes for our 1200s to warm up. They're pretty warm in about 4 minutes of riding. Food for thought.
