    Jetting recommendations...

My project ski that I bought is starting to come together and I am going to rebuild the carbs next (kits are on the way). I figure while I am in there, I should make sure my jetting is right from the get-go. Only mods to ski are R&D intake grate (may run no grate, we will see) and proK flame arrestors (with FLY prefilters). Stock pipe, stock impeller, stock compresson, new top end with 0.5mm overbore. Any jetting suggestions? Also, who can usually ship a set the quickest? Seems like parker yamaha likes to sit on my orders for a few days (the status says "waiting parts" yet they never say anything is out of stock ) My break-in oil showed up yesterday (Dumonde Tech, as recommended by 96XPSS). I can't wait to get this thing on the water...

You can give Bill O'neal at Watercraft Magic a call and tell him what you have. He has jet kits all in stock and can tell you what to set it all at. I had my stuff in 3 days across the country. 626-914-9509 9-5 pst.

77.5 pilots, 2.0 needle and seats, 80 gram springs, and stock mains.

Atlantic Jet Sports has jets too, as does Dennis Kirk.

Let us know how she runs when through! The R&D grate is going to slow you about 2 mph though, you should sell it and get a Worx.

I was hoping you would chime in! I already have some 80 gram springs on the way, now I just need some new jets and needles/seats. I was kind of hesitant to run an intake grate in the first place, I guess I will run 'naked' until I can find a good deal on a Worx. thanks for the help!

    progress pics...

    When I got it:

    Small changes:

As it sits right now: I recovered the seat in black carbon fiber vinyl...looks awesome! Now if only that A-hole from ebay would send me my damn ODI grips I ordered on April 17th, I could finish the steering! Rub rails arent finished because I am waiting on my Jet Trim splash guard...
