    Parting ways with a GP1200

    All,

I have a 98 GP1200 that I want to get rid off. I need to buy parts for my 1200R and the extra cash is tight. I was wanting to get some input and see if I'd be better off trying to part it out, engine by itself and hull by itself, or trying to sell it complete? I would only be looking for somewhere around 1K for it. Just trying to finance my other ski to get it up and running.

For $1000 you should be able to sell it complete would be a great deal if the skis in good shape minus a crank.

The bottom of the hull is in great shape, the top has some dock rash on the front. It runs good once it gets warmed up and going, its hard to get going, I think the carbs need adjusted. I tried to adjust them best I could after I had them rebuilt, but its a lil sluggish from idle to WOT.

Flying Scot, the GP12 doesn't have a broke crank, its runs. I'm wanting to sell it to fix my GP12R that is broke.

I will have to have someone on here list it for on here because I don't have 50 posts yet, I guess eBay is where I will have to start.
