    pitch or not to pitch?

tryin to find a xs ic for the ski and a 15/20 to go along with the mods listed in my signature. i am running 8100 right now. question is, am i going to have to pitch the prop or leave it untouched. im getting mixed signals on different threads. i know each ski is different, just trying to get a general consensus bc i wanna do it right the first time. thanks for any input

Wait til the mods are all set then look at ur RPMs. Results vary with parts...soo if you are hitting the limiter after upgrade...PITCH

Snake: I have the exact same issue now. Im running at 8160-8180. let me know what you do. Thinking I am going pitch the prop rather than the nozzle/ring install.

You are going to get your best top speed with the nozzle upgrade and using the 81 mm ring. Pitch the impeller to run 8100 RPM with the 81mm ring and you will see your best results.

My 07 was running 8180 to 8200 rpms, until last weekend.

90 plus degrees down 60 rpms. I expect to loose another 100 by MudBug.
