    D-Plate Install

So I got all this stuff in and I'm in the process of installing it all.

    Rive D-plate
Island Racing 2005 Pump Upgrade with 14/20

Next round of mods before summer ends will include...

    Jim's R&D Plate
Riva EFI controller or Advent EFI/Ignition controller (if it ever comes out..)
    Intake
    Possibly the Jetworks mod also

    Anyways onto my problem!

I started the install for the d-plate today. I got the Stinger loose and clear of both the water box and front connection. So it is totally loose from the motor and ready to pull. Only problem is I can't see to find a good way to pull it out!! Any tips on this? Pictures would be bad ass.

its like a puzzle to get it out but i think if you the the bolt that holds the back part to the back of the block in and seperate the part where the cat is you can probably do it in the ski i think im right

I thought about taking the bottom/block braket off the stinger but didn't. I am almost positive it would be hard or impossible to pull the cat from inside the stinger and replace in all while it was still in the hull.

I find it easier if you remove the bottom bracket behind the back cylinder, pull the pipe up from the top, tilt, and rotate it some and it should come right out. You just have to twist it and jack with it a little and it will come out. Make sure and unhook your cat and temp cables first. Follow the cables to the little bridge near your flush line.
    Good luck.

I used those instructions..... they don't help when it comes to taking the pipe out of the hull.

The bracket I am taking about has 3 bolts, 2 to the cases, 1 to the pipe. It makes it much easier to take out. It's cake. Just get in there and do it.
