    Ride plate and Pump Plate Bolts

    Still have a tough time with Pliers getting these off, They just spin....(loctite doing the job) Here is a pic of the top side of one....as you can see ive been trying to get it off any other ideas to keep it from spinning???

    If you can get a wrench on the hex part of the insert then do that if you can't then use a set of vice grips on top.

    vice scripts are just spinning, its a pain in the &$% haha. Guess I am going to have dig out the gunk and get something on that head??

    Use a heat gun to heat the glue then chisel it off. Then use the vice grips.

    Yup.......use some heat and dont use loctite on any of the plate,tabs,sponsons...

    Be forewarned - that glue puts off some pretty awful fumes. Do it outside your garage.

    That's for the tip...I put it back together as I want to ride it this weekend probably before the parts come in but that definitely will come in handy...You guys make this type of work easier

    another tip one of the guys told me was, screw a long bolt into said hole and when gooo is heated a sharp tap from under ski and it does a lot of the work for you,most of the goo lifts out with insert

    No, I got the bolt tight. Had to dig the goo up and get a vice script on it....It may be a week or so before the parts come in...Don't want to waste a warm weekend waiting
