How to run a seadoo out of the water

Anyone know how I can hook up a hose to the engine in order to run it out of the water for a while while I trouble shoot it.
Is there any down side to this?

Yeah, the Radiator needs water around it too for cooling, or it will start to chirp overheat at you...

A radiator huh? Can you point out where that is on a two stroke?

you need one of these on the water out line, its a garden hose attachment.
when you install this remember. engine on, water on - water off, engine off in that order. also remember to put a little water on the carbon ring around the drive shaft to keep it cool.

A 4-tec has a radiator of sorts and since he did not identify the kind of boat he is dealing with all bets are off. We kinda need to know what boat he has since he may not need that hose kit either.

There are also specific steps to take in doing this.

I guess I will be more clear. I have been working on the same dang seadoo for a long time fixing various things. It is a 2002 GTi with the 720cc 2 stroke engine.
I finally got it running but when I took it to the lake I could see water pumping out of the exhaust seals. However, I did put in new gaskets so I must have done something wrong hence the reason I need to put water to it without taking it to the lake.
Anybody got any ideas, I guess it could be as simple as replacing the gaskets and paying more attention to detail?
