    Muddy's 4-Tech Oil Cap Remover

It works! Saves on O-Rings! A lot quicker to remove the Oil Cap! I bought a dent puller from Harbor Freight!

if your talking about the O ring of top the oil filter cover and if you do a visual inspection of the O ring and it's not damage.....your good to go, but I warn you to pleases rub oil on the O ring and massage it down the oil filter canister with min. force. a happy O ring is a non -leaky 1 BTW, there is 2 oil rings in there. The cover 1 and the 1 in the oil cover bolt. which 1

    another o ring question...
i replaced the top o ring, the super skinny one with the thicker o ring from down inside. i had a spare. its not quite large enough for the circumference, but very easy to stretch it over.
any reason why that wont work??
i have tons of orings the right size for the inner /thicker oring seal, but none of teh super skinny kind.
o ring kit was a close match.
only problem???? is that now the cap sits maybe 1 or 2 mm higher on the can cuz the oring is alot thicker than the original superskinny kind.
i think the filter still seals onto top and bottom, cuz 1 mm higher isnt too big a difference...
    anything i'm not thinkin of??
