    Question Emergency kill switch malfunction

On my 98 GP800 when the tether strap is removed the engine remains to run. This is dangerous and I would like to fix the problem. Has anyone encountered this. I will remove and test the wires but if there is a common problem the information would help.

Pull the switch apart and clean it out, there is probably some corrosion in there. I had the same problem on my gp800.
