    Anyone consider this mod?

    www.snowperformance.net

They list systems for PWC's too.

You resort to water/methanol when you want to control detonation. We don't have that issue, with some folks running well over 20 psi boost on pump gas. Until you get to 24+ psi boost and still want more power, but don't want to spend the money for race gas, then forget about water and methanol injection.

Wouldnt a temporary increase in performance be hard to do cause of the pitch of the impeller? I was thinking something like this to help cool the intake charge http://www.prostreetonline.com/x/nx-n-tercooler-kit.asp

can do this with propane injection also, but water/meth is cheaper

Tremendously. On my turbo Z28, at 17 psi boost, using a water/air intercooler and Meth injection, the intake air temps are usually 10-20 deg BELOW ambient temp. HOWEVER, the drop in temperature DOES NOT GAIN POWER because the vaporized Meth/water displaces the oxygen. The ONLY reason to inject water/Meth is to reduce detonation.

When put the Snow water/meth injection on my supercharged, non intercooled truck I was able to put a lot more timing back into it.
I can control timing on the fly per lbls of boost.. I am only running
8-9 psi. Before meth injection I was pulling 1.3 - 1.5 degrees out per
lb of boost. Now with inj, i only pull .4 - .6 degrees per lb.
That extra 8-10* of timing I can sure feel and the chassis dyno
    can too!
I don't know how we could mount the tank with all the ups and downs
though.. would be hard on the system..
I think you would just have to prop for it correctly... IF you could
add timing to realize more power
