    Supercharger gear failure !!! Wtf

    JUST pulled off my charger only to find that my gear was missing ,ended up pulling most of the engine apart and there was shatterd peices everywhere , its comon to hear of washers going but the gear ??? anyway so far from what i can see just a gear and the bolts on the cam has been ripped off but now the question is do i go for a complete over haul or ???? any sugestions

    At the very least I would suggest making sure you have all of the trash out of the engine, checking the oil pumps, replacing the timing chain and anyhing else that shows signs of wear.
    What charger was it?

    b-kit , i had les from seadoo center pull it apart for a check up 4 hours before this happend and he said all was good , again i am confused is this a comon problem ??

    Not real common but it does happen.

    Josh Is this the first time the charger has been pulled out. ?

    this is the 1st time i am pulling the charger of my self apart from that its always been done by les from seadoo center

    I have seen quite a few gear failures.

    Does this happen to be an 04-05 ski?

    no happend to an 07, well i am thinking since thios happend and ive got over 5 months till summer , maybe make this thing bullet proof and start getting all after market parts and doing a good rebuild and maybe porting the heads
