    I did it now....

I am including a picture and a video...I want to know if what I am experiencing is indeed cavitation as I have a new grate and ppk kit on the way and the picture when I took the ski out I noticed rubber hanging out...What is that???

    Thanks

that looks like the cheapo foam seal between the rear of the shoe and the transom plate... if that blew out then yes it will cavitate

That isn't apart of the seal?? So that is unnecessary foam??? The ski only has 47 hours on it...The cavitation has gotten progressively worse since i bought it...now its horrible from a start....

install the PPK and grate and then test it out, then go from there.

that is what comes stock between the pump shoe and tramsom plate, and can cause bad cavitation

when you install your PPK, remove that crappy foam piece and seal it with 5200 fast cure
