    99 slh stator ?

    Can I install the stator without pulling the motor.

    As long as you can work between the engine and the fuel tank, you can get the flywheel off.

    Pulling the flywheel is the hardest part, since it takes some torque and force to get it to release from the crank shaft.

    Search for flywheel pulling, and you will find lots of tips.

    If you haven't found them yet, click here for the Polaris Service Manuals.

    If you are replacing the stator, are you installing the Ignition System Update Kit?

    If you already have the update kit installed, then the diagnostics are different. You would need to use the 2000 or 2001 service manual diagnostics for the CDI+stator.

    yes i am installing the updated ignition sys. Was just wondering how hard it is to install while still in the hull.
