    Compression check question?

How can you check compression if your computers are out of the ski? Can you do the starter jump trick and it will give you some turns to check compression? I know you can on the older Seadoos not to sure on the RXTs....?
    thanks

Probably have to short the starter solenoid as you wont be able to power up the start button. no need to hold the throttle as the fuel pump wont energize. One of the trigger remote car starters would probably be ideal for this.

That's easy, follow the positive battery cable. That's where it is headed.

Well then, just how are you going to warm up the engine before checking the compression if the electronics are out?... Ron

right, cold engine readings are going to be low and may vary more between cylinders.

But you need three hands to do that: 1 to hold the screw driver, 1 to hold the throttle WOT and 1 to hold the heat gun. He said you - meaning one guy. Can't be done... Ron
