    4in Intake lost RPM

I put a Kanaflx 4 inch intake on yesterday and i have seemed to have lost 150-200 RPM. Will it go back up to 8000 when i get my prop pitched? i kind of though i would be over on the RPMs.

    IT's THE MECHANIC!!!!

Which ski did you put it on John?

Didn't you just change your oil? Did you over fill?

I'm down 250 rpm's or more just from the heat so it may not be the intake. 5 weeks ago I was turning 8120-8140 and yesterday it turned at 7820-7840. The water and air are warming fast. It doesn't make sense that a 4" air would hurt your rpm's.

I picked up 150 - 200 RPM from installing the intake with no other mods

I usually don't lose r's this early to heat...that pleasure is usually reserved for late august.
