    RXT-X waterbox mod

Hey guys thinking about modding my waterbox instead of going with a TDR, i cant even find TDR website anymore? Is the "tip of the day - waterbox mod " thread applicable to the X models too? Obviously the boxes look a bit different but are the baffles/ process the same? I would hate to cut mine apart to find out that its totally different.. any help is appreciated

The guy who did the mod he was an auzzie forget which user it was. He never replied on how the waterbox mod performed, how it sounded, if it caused problems the way he cut the pipes, too much backpressure ETC. It was VERY inconclusive I am not going to cut up my box without knowing what the results are. Unforunately the Waterbox mod is only for non -X boats for now it looks like Im going to call Banshee /TDR tomorrow about getting me a box made up

I already did work on an 08 box, which is the same as an X...Exhaust note was that of a typical gutted box, and flow was the lowest I had ever seen

Thats a good write up, thanks for the info. No access to welder/etc I will just order a box. That way when I trade it in or sell it i can go to stock if the buyer wants it

One thing, by "lowest flow" isnt that a bad thing? do you mean lowest back pressure?

    Yea, lowest backpressure...

You'd be surprised on how many local welders you might have around you...

You can find the TDR waterboxes at the Bansheedepot.com. The 08's aren't up on the website yet but you can email them with questions.
