    Now that it all over...

    Well I'm done with school, got a good job and I had to go get my right of passage... THIS THING FUCKING ROCKS!!!!!!

    WFO- Oh Yeah, there's that too. Tune ups and preventitive maintainance were costing me what I used to spend on VW engines. I'm sure my mechanics given name was Peter but called himself Pierre so he could charge Me double and afford His own plane. Welcome to the wonderful world of BMW.

    I was just looking at on of those ....nice car down to the color. I ended up buying a Civic EX. I drive 150 mile a day (only three days wk but) didn't want to drive a new BMW to the ground. Had an older 540 before but Auto. My next BMW...... 6 speed 540

    I agree. Deutsche Kopf. (German Head). They were meticulous in their engineering. If others are micing (micrometer tolerances) to hundredths BMW was micing to thousandths. First time I pulled the door panel on my old Bavaria (roughly 5 series) and saw the overkill build in sealing the window, I was sold on them.
