    66e power valve removal

I need to swap power valves from motor A to motor B.
I have the cylinders off of motor A. I've removed the allen head screws. It looks like the power valves are sitting in a (brass?) cylinder that is pressure fit to the middle of the head. I haven't tried getting too abusive on them, but I'd like to know if there is a secret for getting them out...

Do you punch the power valve slide out from the cylinder side?

I know I need to add weedeater clips and replace the oil seals. Is there an updated non-yamaha coupler between the valves?

Yes, the valves took a bit of a tug to get them out..
