does broken valve mean blown motor??
My buddy has an 05rxp and at the end of the year he would go wide open throttle and then let off and the oil light would come on with the long beep sound. He just brought it to our dealership and they said a valve was broken and that the motor was blown. Does this make any sense? Also said they didnt want to warranty it because it has a BOV. I dont see how a broken valve could blow the motor when it was running fine last ride. Do you think my dealer is just trying to get some work?

A blow off valve would not have anything to do with a blown engine. If it has dropped a valve it wont run at all and its very possible that the engine is a good boat anchor. If it still runs and has an oil pressure problem it is very likely it can be fixed.
