Pics of lightened flywheel
These are pics of my flywheel after George Grabowski lightened and balanced it. My crank broke at the # 1 rod journal, totally different than Mark's break. I'm hoping this will help to prevent that from happening again. I also lapped it in good tonite.

Send me some contact info. I'm willing to try it too. It appears it's still a charging unit?

I'd also be interested in the contact info. What did it cost to have the work done?

I'm going to send him 2 flywheels and see if he can save the old one. I just emailed him.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner, been busy. George is a great guy, but he is a Cancer survivor and told me he limits his work due to his illness, so it may take some time to get done. It cost 125.00 plus shipping, and the work is first rate. He will need a cashiers check, no credit cards. Don't be offended by his manor, he is a little gruff and very opinionated, but very smart. Be a good listener and you will learn from him.
