Depends what your timeline is like, i make specialised raceparts for import cars, and im setting up a js600 at the moment as you would have read, and for this im making a conversion plate from a composite type of plastic that is insanely strong (dense).

Its a CNC cut, im going to run one up next week and see how tough it ends up, and if yes ill cut some more. If not, ill stick to alum ... but ill be doing a few conversion plates.

With the Aussie dollar being worth about as much as a used leaf of toilet paper now, it may work out for you $$$ wise.

ive got a conversion ski if you need some tips. id just use an aluminum plate but make sure you get the bolts for them since they can be hard to find.
